A truly delightful book. I did not put it down from start to finish.
Now I am re-reading and looking. Your words and wisdom have resulted in me knowing exactly what my next move will be – not the when yet but most definitely the where.
I look forward to seeing what else you do.
This is the most amazing book I have ever read its so heartwarming and cosy and I bought it yesterday and haven’t put it down. my heart is filled with your beautiful words of wisdom and my heart has already begun to wander and i’m going to follow it. I love interior decorating and so the pictures in your book are so inspirational and wonderful.
Thank you so much for this amazing read i look forward to reading more of your books.
Thanks, I think you’re a very special person

Hi Pia, I am reading your book and really enjoying it. I love the way you write and it reaches me deeply. I have experienced (and still am experiencing) such kind of search and reading your story makes me happy because I know everything will fall in place. I still have a few pages before I have come to The End….and I am Postponing it because I don’t want it to be over 😉 thank you for these magical pages. Love from Amsterdam. Wendy
A cherished friend gave me a copy of My Heart Wanders for Christmas. I read it in two sittings, simply couldn’t put it down! It was a visual feast- and a balm for the soul. Like you, my heart has wandered and my home is found in the beauty of simple things.
Thank you- beyond words- for sharing your journey in such a beautiful way.
I would love to feature your book on our website with your permission.
This book is beautiful. It has changed me and how I look
at the simple but joyous things in my life. I have always collected heart shaped stones or rocks, it really has made me breathe and just be in the moment. Thank you Pia.
I come from Germany, live in New Zealand. I am 19 years old and last year I graduated from high school. Your book, My Heart Wanders was given to me as a gift by a very close family friend who wanted to celebrate my graduating with a special book.
Throughout this year I was in Germany, and two days ago, arriving in New Zealand, I picked up your book and read it for the first time. I am facing some, for me, challenging life decisions – the biggest one being – will I move to Germany next year to start my study, or will I stay here. And really money is the only part getting in the way. I think your book will be a very strong source of courage for me to make this move – Germany is where my heart longs to be. I know you are busy person. I am just yearning so much to learn how someone like you did all this, and I am very inspired by you. Thank you Pia.
…it would take me far away, away from my family and away from my kids. Because my heart cannot be contained. And that’s why I’m afraid to open those doors and let it go. Because it will travel far, far away and I’m afraid it won’t come back to this place. JT.
