Welcome to the (blog)house. Here you will find me pottering around just like I do in my everyday life. You can wander from room to room (page to page) to see what I am up to and see what+who inspires me, what my latest projects are and what’s cooking. Amongst the daily posts you will find some regular features including handy hints; showcasing all-natural alternatives for everyday chores, also on the menu; recipes that follow my philosophy of ‘real food in real time’, and on the kitchen table; where you will find my latest assignments and inspirational delights. Just as I evolve as a stylist, photographer and writer, so will this site – new rooms will be built in my house in the coming months and new projects added as they light-bulb above my head. I always have a work-in-progress (or ten) going so feel free to drop in to get your hands dirty and join in the fun! My Heart Wanders is my first collaborative blog project and it is well under way, take a look right here.
Thanks for stopping in for a cuppa (and staying for a few glasses of fine French wine from the cellar). I hope you enjoy my home as much as I do.

A little about Pia…
Upon finishing her BFA in film and photomedia some ten years ago, Pia established INDIGO artefacts, a homewares and furniture boutique on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. She spent four years sourcing unique artefacts from around the world, as well as providing an in-store interiors consultant service for her customers, specialising in natural and organic alternatives for the modern home. The store was featured in various lifestyle magazines and local newspapers, and had a customer base that stretched to Europe and Canada.
In 2001 she established INDIGO Teahouse in the same suburb, a gourmet café catering to the local business crowd. Running the two businesses as proprietor and manager proved… exhausting. Tired & rundown at a ripe 24, Pia made the heart wrenching decision to sell up shops. And after some well-needed time off, she edged her way into the world of styling. Keeping in line with her love of interiors and handmade products, she takes great delight in sourcing and shooting the best of the best for her clients while still remaining resourceful with natural choices coming first. She currently divides her time living and working between Paris, Amsterdam and Sydney. She is a dedicated humanitarian.

Pia, I’m afraid I may have to press legal charges against you. I’m not entirely certain of how it would play out but there must be some type of crime associated with stealing someone’s life!
Your blog is beautiful, inspiring, dreamy, and delicious. I feel like I’ve just been on vacation…swinging in a hammock, breeze adrift, french accordion playing softly in the background, deep cup of tea, and dreams of how to make the world a bit more beautiful…ahhhhhhhhh
I will most assuredly be back!
Happiest New Year!
