    Whether or not you go, I sincerely hope that this is the year that your pact will allow you to do so if you choose…. for your sake, but more so for the Tibetans’ sake. Freeing Tibet can’t happen soon enough.

    Pia – happy year of the metal tiger. Some years back I began sponsoring a monk in the Dalai Lama’s monastery located in India. I make a small monthly contribution and am wonderfully rewarded by the Tibetan New Year’s Card that arrives each year and the knowledge that, in a small way, I can support the non-violent resistance of the monastery.
