I am in the process of designing a guest room which is being built. It will have a white-washed open cathedral ceiling. I have been struggling with the lighting and the photo of the bedroom with the hanging pendants is very inspirational. I am seeing more and more that pendant lights (one time reserved for work spaces and eating spaces) are being used more flexibly. I do like it. Everything is so gorgeous. It makes me know there is life after construction, which we seem always to have going on. But that means things are always happening, right? ... and that's a good thing.
