as a lover of photography light is the what makes the magic happen and i can truly appreciate what you might mean by the fact it can penetrate walls….that is quite an image to think about.

We’ve had good light these last few days. I went for a run yesterday arvo and came home to a sun dipping in the west, the golden arc of water and then that rose gold cast atop the hill of bushland that backs my house. Truly beautiful. I love that the light changes with seasons and that it’s different in the country than the coast. I thought I’d die for not seeing the dusk and dawn of Mudgee, where I’m from, but I haven’t and I’ve learned to appreciate the coastal light. Last night, well after the sun had dropped, the skyline to the west showed me a dark ridge against a silken blue sky that dropped to a burnt orange and then a soft yellow. There was one lone bright star.
